Witney lakes resort GC - crunch hole!

Day 2 and final day of our golf break. For forty years we have played sport together. Games have always been close no matter the sport. Today, was no exception. I needed to win the 17th to get us level. After some good play and a missed putt by Rich, I won the hole! The final hole saw me finish on 5. Rich had a longish putt to win. The ball tracked really well, heading for the hole and then stopped 1cm short!!! We drew the match and celebrated our shots of the day over a guiness. Once again the weather was sensational.


A slightly better course than yesterday but still very wet under foot.
