Night Before

Car loaded I headed off to the Greenbank Hotel, last minute adjustments to the seating plan, room and tables decorated, everything ready for the evening.
A brief coffee at the hotel before heading off to the rugby club where I met the ‘rat man’ pest controller so he could lay his ‘baits’.
Supermarket run with Sam who bribed me with a coffee before arriving home to just sit for an hour with a coffee.
Walked Paddy and then showered, shaved, dinner jacket, bow tie, medals etc all dressed up ready for an early taxi with Mrs S.
A couple of pre-dinner cocktails before a superb evening, brilliant company, great food, great service and a little too much to drink - if there is such a thing as too much on Trafalgar Night.
Tiring Day

The picture, two bottles of ‘Pussers Rum’, one raffled, one auctioned. The proceeds covered the cost of the three bottles we drank.
