Holy service at Iconostasis

The eve of Ocotber 24th and then priests hold services at Agios Dimitris churches and chapels and like here in Sweetheart's street at the Agios Dimitris iconostasis. 
A cekebration initiated by the neighbourhood and the local priest was invited again to do the holy service. That all lasted little over half an hour and then the people celebrated all who have the name Dimitris or Dimitra and they shared the sweets they'd brought along (see extra)

After this celebration at Dusk, Sweetheart and I took my Benjamin and his Love up to the village to show them Sweethearts little house there and up to Kolymbari where we enjoyed a meal together. In coming days they will roam across Crete in their rented car, so this was a nice eve together for us all.
