Addicted to coffee

Goddess help the person who gets between me and my coffee! I've blipped before about my fussiness when it comes to making a cup (fresh ground, organic, shade grown, dark roast fair trade beans, double-dripped, hot with a healthy splash of half & half). When I travel, I'm self-contained for all my coffee paraphernalia.

My afternoon coffee I'm not quite as fussy about, and when I have classes and/or students, I often stop at a drive-through for a latte (iced in the summer) or scoot up to one of the many coffee shops on Hawthorne.

nhc, honest, that wasn't my DB coffee cup tossed on your sidewalk! I bring my own travel cup for mine!
