What's that coming over the roof?

Is it a MONSTER??

When Brian arrived home from work this evening we went out for a walk into town to Blip the latest Lincoln trail to coincide with the half term holiday. These monsters are all inflatable and high up out of the way of the destructive elements that have damaged exhibits in previous trails. They're quite impressive by day, but even more so all lit up at night.

 Town was busy with families looking at them and the restaurants seemed to be doing a good trade too, mostly with the student crowd. 

Whilst in town we called into Heron. They have some good bargains so we buy some things from there rather than Tesco these days.

Otherwise today I have done yet more cleaning and made banana bread with some overripe bananas. I ate a big chunk of it for my lunch. I could never bake fantastic creations like Jeri makes but I can chuck together a mean banana bread! Today's has a few walnuts in.
