pukeko study

i dropped my girlfriend off at hospital this morning for a small procedure. To fill in time i went out to the Travis Wetlands. There was a great collection of birds all very busy. There were many pukeko also very busy. they were totally concentrated with eating so I could get reasonably close. they are such lovely birds.
