We spent a half hour or more looking for the cat who had disappeared. Wasn’t in any of his usual spots and people had been in and out of the house. I was afraid he had actually gotten out of the house even though he runs in the opposite direction when a door is opened. Finally found him happily sleeping in a box Elise has in the hall upstairs that she’s been packing old clothes in . A new hiding place. After all the upset he’s gone back to his cat tree.
