What can be observed, is the "skirt" around the bottom of the porch. This would be the new addition since the first post of the porch.

What can't be easily observed, is the ridge cap on the top of the roof. Not so easy to climb up there to install it, and I think it's safe to say that I'm grateful to not have been home while Mr. C was climbing on the roof to install it. Grateful for not having to hold my breath while he was up there, but dutifully concerned that there was no one home to catch him if he had fallen off the roof. Thankful that he did not!
