Hoş Geldiniz

Welcome to my new home. Now that it's done, I can tell all (didn't want to tempt fate before).  I first viewed on 24th of August (here), my offer was made and accepted 1st September (hence the blip to remember this day) when I went to see it for the third time in a week !!.  Finances took a while, so that the deal was finally sealed last Friday (hence all the drama with the bank last week), the deeds altered to my name on Monday making it lawfully mine (hence the cryptic clue in my Blip here) , and the electricity and water connected today after much running around in Didim and Akbuk with Burak.  I won't be moving in yet as there is work to be done, internally and externally, but this small semi-detached, three bedroom, roof terrace with sea vıew, balcony and private garden with small pool home, is destined to be my comfort and joy. With Rufus and the cats of course. 

This evening Graham, Kat and I went to see the villa at night, with all the lights on - including gentle boundary lights - so pretty even though the garden needs a lot of attention. We rounded off the day with a much deserved dinner and beer together at Paşa restaurant.
