Poppies galore...

...at the Old Low Light this morning...

The sun came out, so we had a wander along the river to the fishquay. The sand and shingle is quite deep on the prom, and we could see the damage done to the South Pier during Storm Babet.

A lovely coffee and toasted tea cake at the OLL, and a look upstairs at the excellent Merchant Navy exhibition.

We're now expecting our friends to call to give us an ETA - they're on the way here from Hastings today ;)
