Michael Mina?s eponymous restaurant

Egyptian born chef who has cooked for 3 US presidents. Apparently he was at the restaurant!! We ordered the octopus and the waiter informed us that the chef did not feel the quality of octopus he received today was what he wished to serve. So we were denied the octopus but compensated with multiple desserts

Mina's namesake restaurant was restaurant of the year in 2011.
