When Frances moved just over a year ago the rabbits got a new home too. 

Its was in my opinion a lovely ‘Palatial’ Hutch it was called (Balmoral I think). 

Now fast forward to now and one of the rabbits has passed away. The recommendation for rabbits to be in pairs so Frances contacted Woodgreen.. 

It’s a long story about making sure the two rabbits are compatible and this involves Chips going to Woodgreen for a week to meet with potential friend. What we also found out was that for ‘medium’ sized rabbits the RSPCA recommendation for a hutch size is about two and a half times the size of the ‘Palace’. 

My next job in the next 10 days is to build a framework tunnel to connect the Palace to the Rabbit Run I made a few years ago.
