Garden Patrol

I am not sure what caught his attention. He had already visited the bird feeder (squirrels are banned) and then made holes in the lawn (squirrels will be prosecuted) then he ran up the fence to move on to his next victim. But before he left, he felt the need to check out the acer. Did it smell good or was it just in the way?

Bless him, he's welcome really. I do have such a fondness for these furry little monsters. They are everywhere and can be seen running along the overhead telephone cables as if in a whole separate town of their own. Until I moved here, I had no idea what noise a squirrel makes. But even when you can't see them, you can certainly hear them.
