Queen's Birthday

Week four of my self-portrait efforts and I'm finally happy with it! Dad says I look like Rita Tushingham, but I have no idea who she is so who knows...

Today was a public holiday, but as someone who never works Mondays and is currently not studying, it passed me by a little bit. Dad works from home so for both of us it was just a normal day. I did some major sorting out, and then had a bit of a shop with Mum, who was definitely enjoying the day off! I finally bought a coat - I've been in denial about winter in Melbourne but the time has come where I'm admitting it's really cold. We do get our wind from Antarctica, after all!

I actually like this photo! I look a bit wild and very intense, and I managed not to take a post-hair wash photo so I'm not all frizzy and flyaway. There was another one that I quite liked as well, which is very unusual. Two good self-portraits? Unheard of!
