Boat Jack

This is a very neat bit of kit.  It gets lowered into the water, then a boat manoeuvres into place over it and it then lifts the boat up for repairs.

Leo and I took a trip around the harbour to see this and lots of other interesting sights.  I did have to persuade him as he is nit a lover of water but he had to admit he enjoyed it even when we got thrown about a bit in a choppy pitch.

That was the last day of our trio . It was great half term fun and we still have lots to explore next time we head back.  Ian’s contract at Portsmouth Uni is now extended until the summer so we will likely fit in a couple more trips.
