Tate Modern

Took the Tube to The Tower of London and walked over 25 000 steps, over the Tower Bridge, along the Jubilee Walkway (absolutely packed with people) to Westminster, through St. James Park (where it rained) to Buckingham Palace and down the Mall to Trafalgar Square for a pint and lunch.
Then to Covent Garden and Russell Square before tubing back to the hotel.

Tate Modern was an oasis of calm and quite in a very hectic day. Not a big modern art fan but I liked these- for no reason, except the Guerrilla Girls, because it is too true, and the Theda Bara, because it is Klimt-ish, and because it is done by a (Russian) woman.
Extra- one of the most thought provoking was this visual and audio piece. A tower of over 300 transistor radios to bluetooth speakers, each playing something different, meant to simulate society’s sensory and information overload from our complex media. Very clever…
