Long

Slept much better then chat over breakfast and went into town (beautiful light ahead as we drove). Last night’s graduation flower displays were looking good around the entrance…third one I’ve blipped this week! Premeet then very heavy agenda board, bringing it in to end on time by the skin of my teeth. Not very satisfactory though….didn’t feel like we managed much discussion and instead just cantered through.
Anyway, a few good chats with people over sandwiches before non stop drive to S’s. Listened to a Donna Leon detective book all the way…hopefully will finish tomorrow.
Arrived above 7.30pm and had delicious chicken, olive and date Ottolenghi casserole then some tea and chocolate watching some TV before bed
