Somewhere over the double rainbow

We went to Petworth Park to catch the deer rut and when we were walking down to the first herd, the wind got up and the heavens opened so we had to shelter under a tree. We were rewarded with a fantastic rainbow, which made up for a lack of action from the deer. We were probably a week late for the best photo opportunities, or the wrong time of day (my first ‘failure’ in 12 years of going). Ah well.
