The Sweet Things

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

I made a cake yesterday for us to have a slice with Bake Off.

The Prince absolutely loves ALL baking and declared that “as Mr Kipling would say, it’s exceeding good cake”

Me: Mr chuffing Kipling didn’t make it.

The Prince: Ah but if he had, he’d say it was exceedingly good.

Me: Was he even a real person?

The Prince (laughing): Oh yeah, course he was.

So I googled to check and he wasn’t. And my googling made The Prince laugh even more!

But it really was an excellent cake!

Just another normal day!
