Birthday Cake and Sunshine

Today my daughter and her boyfriend came over for tea. It was my daughter's birthday two days' ago and she had been away to celebrate. I made an apple and ground almond cake for the first time this morning and I am glad that it turned out to be really delicious!

We also had sunshine and a blue sky as you can see.

I finished Honey's blanket last night and you can see it on her adopted chair!
