...drying out slightly with breakouts of blue sky later.

Left all on my lonesome, the afternoon was rescued by Biscuit, who took me for a chilly but fun 80 mile dip into the Peak District.

An unexpected highlight was riding past a group of other motorcyclists dressed as Teletubbies in a layby on the Snake Pass. I waved Eh-Oh & sensibly rode on.

At Monsal Head, we steered off the B-road and pop-popped down into Monsal Dale. Have discovered since arriving home and consulting the map that the lovely old building next to the carpark is a stonking little cafe and a return journey will have to be made because Biscuit says so.

Blip is of a sign showing the local weather forecast in Wormhill. As you can see, conditions are somewhere south of a Tornado, which another line of text needs to be added saying "Stone on Wall - not that bad compared to last week". Extra is Saturdays saviour :-)
