Rote Insel

Slow start today. Gave one of the doors a second coat of paint and realised with some dread that they'll need a third coat of paint. Ah well, still no date for the delivery of our stuff, so we might as well do some painting. Wandered to the art gallery to do my shift. We had quite a few visitors again (and not only invited people). On the way I passed a huge Turkish market. I will need to check that out at some stage.

The Rote Insel, the Red Island, is a part of Schöneberg situated between two train lines which used to be working class and rather left leaning. This house was occupied in the 80ies and is now an alternative housing project.
