Recharge

Ru got back late last night after 4 days in New York and after a long lie he decided a walk on the beach was just the thing to recharge the batteries after all that big city stuff.

He loved NY. Lots of stories to tell, and events to relive. Too much for an hour's walk on the beach to cover, we'll be getting the slideshow later I'm told. He thought the city lived up to his expectations, here's a few of the thing things that he seemed most impressed with - evening boat trip round the statue of liberty (most impressive skyline), TONY award party (not the main event), Monet paintings at the Metropolitan museum and that the rain in NY is warm and falls straight down.

A great experience for a bunch of kids from a small Orkney island, total contrast to life here.
