Out clubbing for the first time in ages. Really enjoyed it but my 57-year-old knees didn’t. Took me right back to when I first met Jason and we’d go out clubbing together, 18-19 years ago. Brilliant. Must do it more often.

… it also reminds me of 1984-5, when I was 18 or 19 years old and I used to go to an alternative/goth club in Inverness and a local radio DJ’s mum used to go to the same club. She would have been about the age I am now. All us youngsters were really impressed by her, doing something unexpected of the older generation. Love the misfits and the unconventional people.
