The Flowering Cherry Tree……

…….. in my garden. It is a very big tree and provides welcome shade in the summer. It is great having areas of cool, leafy shade in very hot weather. Alas, pink petals are starting to fall like pale pink snowflakes. I swept copious petals off the patio area late this morning and mowed the lawns this evening.
Sadly our All Blacks lost to South Africa by one point (and 14 players due to our team captain being red-carded during the first half of the World Rugby Final this morning NZ time.)
