Old Oaks

I popped out for a walk earlier today before our train trip. Although the bit of Stevanage we were staying in is mostly sub-terranial walk ways and business parks, there is beautiful woodland close by. So I went once again to look at the Hornbeam and oak woodland, which gave me a lot of pleasure.
I presume these trees by the hotel are remainders from a previous woodland life. I am glad they were left.
