Final treat

This morning we had a brief cruise along the final section of the Caledonian Canal back to the Caley Cruisers boatyard to return our boat.

We popped down to the sea lock at Clachnaharry for a brief walk and so we could say we'd seen both ends of the canal, before heading to Simpsons Cafe for a snack. 

Our next stop was at the Atholl Palace Hotel for afternoon tea to break the journey. It was delicious.

We got a bit held up by roadworks on the A9, but still arrived home in reasonable time to greet the cats and unpack.
