Holker Hall

A morning at home - Santana made a batch of ragu sauce and I tackled a pile of ironing so high it would no longer fit in the cupboard.

After lunch we popped over to Holker Hall for a wander as the house and garden close for the season today.  The deer park, cafe and shop remain open until Christmas, weekends only.

IT was a lovely wander, with lovely autumnal colours, a bit of sunshine and the feeling of the plants nodding off for the winter.
