My silly beetroot

It doesn't really show in the photo but this beetroot is about 6in in diameter. For some reason it didn't get harvested with the others and has continued to grow. I'm not sure if it is still edible.

Spoke to my M-I-L via a video call and to be fair she didn't seem too bad. She will see the consultant tomorrow and we are hoping she can be sent home.
