Oooh Yum!

Today I’ve been mainly knitting, I’m desperate to get my jumper finished so I can start something new. I keep making silly mistakes like forgetting to increase a stitch and I can’t leave it, I have to pull it back. Not the end of the world, I’m getting there.
Frank has gone out with his friend tonight to see Albert Lee https://youtu.be/zXuZpVin7Hs?si=JITkRYDVXi3IxGEG  so we had our main meal at lunch time then I made apple pie which we had at 5 pm.
It was delicious and the apples were free from a farm up the road. 
There were fireworks in the village last night and I knew Bella would be scared so I gave her Kalms tablets and covered with a heavy blanket and we put music on really loud. There was one extra loud bang when the adverts were on and she jumped and looked scared bit she settled down really quickly and went to sleep. Kalms are the way forward!
I’m now going to watch ‘Ghosts’ which Squatbetty reminded me about in her Blip the other day. We had watched the first and second series but missed the last series. I really love it, I need light hearted things when there is so much misery and turmoil in the world. I’m fortunate that I can use this kind of escapism unlike those poor people in war zones.
