Corn Exchange
Lovely to spend some time with Tom today; we met in Leeds for lunch. A charcuterie sharing board and wine on a Friday lunchtime seemed rather decadent, but was hugely enjoyable!
Afterwards we had a look round the shops - all small independent traders - in the Corn Exchange. I bought a fern, fingers crossed that it survives longer than the last one! Next to a big department store - Tom was looking for cushions, and I'm trying to find a petite jacket - but neither of us found anything we liked.
Finally we walked to the station to catch our trains home - caught mine by the skin of my teeth. Getting too old for this running through the station lark!
The only downside of going to Leeds on public transport was the trains. In both directions they were full to overflowing, with standing-room-only all the way...
