Colourful

Tried to change the hour on my battery operated alarm clock and it had a wobble.  All digits disappeared, it probably requires new batteries. 

Took Kyro for a sunny walk after breakfast.  The trees are looking lovely.

Late morning and early afternoon it started raining.  Luckily it stopped and I took Kyro for a second walk.

After 4pm Mr and I set off to the hospital to collect a friend from the endoscopy department.  Mr parked the car and I went to find the department which turned out to be easy.   Had quite a long wait.  Noticed the time on the clock hadn't been altered.  

I wore my mask and was the only person doing so.  Not even the staff were wearing any.  The waiting room wasn't crowded and there was no natural ventilation.

Poor friend looked tired but said she was fine.  

On dropping her off at her home she gave me some of her delicious home made membrillo made from quinces from a community orchard.  

Back home I texted her to see if she was ok.  We both learned shorthand at different times on the same course and we have adopted a similar texting shorthand jst as we usd 2 do whn mble phns 1st cme ot.

Watched a lovely film last night on Netflix called Passing.  Beautifully filmed in black and white.  Catch it before it goes on 9 November.

News all day has been awful.

Just going to chill now.
