RED

This Japanese maple was planted by the people we bought our house from back in 1981. I don't know which variety it is. Bloodgood, maybe. Acer palmatum. But really I have no idea. The leaves are kind of very dark reddish all summer, and then go BRIGHT red in the fall. Stunning.
