Waiting for peanuts

Today was a cloudy cool damp day. I got out for a short walk in the morning and again in the afternoon. I spotted several birds as I arrived at the lake. This cardinal was ready to fly after the peanut that I tossed. Back to work tomorrow and off to the hospital tonight
