Christmas Dinner

I know, I know. We're still in October. But I had invited friends round for Sunday lunch and I had decided to cook a roast. And then I thought, as the clocks have just gone back, why not make it Christmas themed. 

So I put the Santa runner along the middle of the table and made bread sauce and pigs in blankets to go with the chicken. It seemed to go down well. I contemplated putting out crackers but thought that would be a step too far.
