The gate

This is the 'side entrance' of the Sendlinger Tor, one of the former city gates, first mentioned in the 14th century, when Ludwig the Bavarian ordered the urban expansion..... and my contribution to the two challenges:
tg June's 'simple' and
DDW's 'architectural detail' as I think it is a simple gate - and you can see the details quite well.....
