Nymphs
These striking insects are Firebugs and there are thousands of them on campus. This pile was one of three such groups under the privet hedge as I walked home from the ATM. The ones with three dots (look to me like they are wearing a tuxedo) are the young and are called 'nymphs' apparently. They pile up like this - 'aggregate' - according to information gleaned on internet - for overall protection, especially when there are Nymphs in the group. Quite. Gezi Park
Heavy rain all morning. Sticky afternoon @ 25ºC and uncomfortably humid. Surprisingly cold this evening @ 17ºC or thereabouts.
