I think he might be checking the opening hours. A non-Library Saturday and Beck away in Newcastle, I had to carefully plan the day to avoid falling into mischief. So it was that I did parkrun, went to a Print Fair at the Contemporary and a Pagan Market in Sneinton, augmented my cortado with a very large almond croissant and was still home reading a book and wondering what to do with myself when Tom and Millie arrived from Sheffield en route to some Halloween event or other. Later on, I had a COVID jab, ordered in a pizza and watched the first three episodes of 'The Fall of the House of Usher...'
