The Wedding - Arrival In Munich

Backblipping the wedding adventure.

I only took my X100V and phone for photos and haven't got that many. The official photographer must have taken hundreds on the day. She had a Sony A7iii, so I had quite a chat with her about the benefits of upgrading to the A7iv.

No problems with the journey. When I switched my phone on at Munich I got a WhatsApp from a very attractive looking lady - Hi, I'm Maria and I'm your taxi driver.

After arrival at the hotel we met up with daughter#2 and three of the bridesmaids and took the tram to a Bavarian restaurant near daughter#1's hotel. The restaurant was heaving. Rory came too and was very good as it was incredibly noisy which he doesn't really like. It was so busy that two of the bridesmaids had to sit apart from us.

That's not my beer I'm holding in the extra, I borrowed it from the bridesmaid who took the photo. Mine was the helles at the front. Sorry Rory if you are reading this and think you look a bit crazy, but it was the best one of everyone else, especially me!

For some reason we had a disabled room at the hotel and I accidentally set off the emergency alarm looking for a light switch. The cancel button was in the bathroom which was pointed out to me when the girl from reception arrived. I got the impression it happened a lot.
