Spring in Autumn

I woke at 5.30 to ensure that Max's owners got the bus otherwise I'd have had to drive them to the coach. Luckily it came through in good time so I went back to bed as Max had been out for a wee!
I went off swimming for an hour as usual at midday - there were only 3 of us in the pool! 
Came back here and have enjoyed a lazy afternoon with Max.  WE have wandered around the garden several times and I noted the rose blooming against the autumn colours. Still so mild.
