Monday...

Much to my surprise, it was quite sunny first thing. A walk down the coastal path gave me lovely views of a goldcrest - extra - + chatting to a fellow birder that I'd never met before. Birding seems to me to be the only hobby where it's fine to share things with complete strangers.

Also on the beach were a few waders - bar tailed godwit is what I'm thinking.

A drive up the coast & the weather got worse...but, it gave fab views of a very stormy sea. (main blip) & a distant long tailed duck.
