Lochside

Evening all,

Yesterday I thought I had blipped the local Loch.....once famed for providing the water to the local distillery for the whisky......but it was the Binn Pond I had captured. So today I set off to find said Loch........and here it is !! ;0)

It is one of the most beautiful places I have been....a very idyllic place...and a jewel on our doorstep.....well kind of.......after a hike up a hill...then a steeper slope to the top........through the woods....wading through the overgrown nettles....and your there....so almost...kinda !!! ;0)

Well worth it as there is a doorway.....no honest there is.....a doorway set in a wall that when you step through the view takes your breath away.....across to Edinburgh and beyond....the length of the Forth, past the Bridges.....stunning !! ;0)

I'll be back there !! ;0)

Thank you for the well wishes for my Dad....he's been transferred to another hospital, he's in a surgical ward but they may decide to try something else other than surgery.....apparently !! The good thing from his view is that it can't be too serious if they haven't made a decision and surgery isn't imminent !! ;0)
