Invasion

Keep spotting more critters around here. These were swaying on the rooftop in Southbourne today. The ones I blipped in Boscombe, on October 23rd, have disappeared, perhaps damaged in the strong winds :(

Mr B wanted to go out for bread, and really wasn't dressed for the weather (considering he's recovering from a cold). Now he says we need to buy Benylin tomorrow as he's coughing.

Just made a vegan apple cake in the Ninja. The first cake I've made in the air-fryer. Looks good, about to try if it's cooled down. Had to play with the ingredients, substituting baking powder with more bicarb, & lemon juice - and olive oil instead of butter. I'm not an accomplished baker, so was expecting a disaster!

Update: Cake success. Has texture of a moist Dorset Apple cake (½ almond flour, ½ plain flour). Next time will use a light olive oil, only had extra virgin available.
