Doctor's orders

Yesterday one of the nurses noticed my right foot was swollen and I has an ultrasound scan on my right leg yesterday afternoon which showed a thrombosis behind my right knee. This morning I had an injection in my stomach - the first of many - to give me a drug to disperse the clot.

I had asked the nurses if I could have a glass of wine so the doctor updated my notes to show his agreement. Clydeborn came to see me this afternoon with a small bottle. This evening Sally has come with another tiny bottle and some Kettle Chips.
