Autumn ephemeral

Funnily enough, both annejohn and I saw this scene, and thought it flippable. She was going down the hill on foot towards the railway paths. I was heading up the path away from the railway paths on the way to work. Funny how our eyes lighted on the same thing.

For me, it's not a usual route to work, but I fancied something a bit different, as for once it was not raining. The e-bike encourages experimentation and endeavour, and also made it possible for me to cycle to work, cycle to Porty for book group (*delicious* food and lovely chat), and then cycle back home in the evening without being too tired. Very practical and lots of speedy fun on the roads. I didn't skimp with the power options, especially cycling home in the cold when there was the vestiges of rain, or was it snow? It certainly felt very cold indeed.
