Grey Heron

Strange morning. I made my way up to the loch about the same time as yesterday, however it was a lot lighter. When I looked up at the roof of the tenement at the edge of the park, there were 3 Heron waiting. As I was crossing the busy road at the lights the little female landed in the street and stared at me. I could not stop as I cannot encourage that. I pointed to the park and continued walking. She flew ahead of me into the park. The other two flew down and a 4th one flew over from the dovecote. I was even amazed to see the 4 of them flying around looking for their place to land. A girl heading for the exit stopped dead in her tracks and got her phone out. I had problems with my K70, it wasn't firing or focusing properly,  however I had my SLT77 so used that to get a shot of the little female. I fed all 4 plus the crows and saved some for the adult male who I knew would be waiting at the clearing. I then made my way round feeding the crows as I went. Sure enough the male was waiting. I fed him the headed for home.
The extras are the 3 Heron on the roof and the adult male.
