Autumn Colour, Sheffield Park Garden

Someone in the Village who works at the National Trust's Sheffield Park and Garden tipped me off yesterday morning that the autumn colours there are now at their peak; that the garden is open from 9am all this week; and that if I turned up early enough, I needn't worry about having to book a place in the car park. All of which proved to be true for me there this morning.

The main picture is taken beside the Middle Lake; the 'Extra' shows the Hickory right beside the main entrance to the garden.
