Dem Bones

This is part of the skeleton of the fox that died on 2nd June. On the right is its pelvis with a couple of tail vertebrae extreme right. Its ball and socket hip joints can be seen. It had a very bad sore on the base of its tail when it died. The lumbar vertebra next to the sacrum looks much darker than the other bones, though that could be tannin from the dead leaves. One leg and a few ribs are present. Shame that its skull is missing.
