Whitstable tractor
Backblip
A lovely sunrise and the promise of a dry day. We went to ‘my Dads’ first. The trees were looking colourful and several were laden with apples. Mum spotted a lovely spindle tree with it’s pink and yellow blossom.
Unfortunately we found the oak plaque we had placed on the grave had been damaged with the stake missing. Not sure how it happen but we took it back to dry out and a clean up.
On to Whitstable for lunch. The payment at the carpark was not working. Could not download the app and no one answering the phone so Mike moved the car to another one. Myself, Mum and David headed for where I thought the restaurant was only to find I had headed in the wrong direction and had to go all the way back to where we started lol.
It was a nice walk though and we watched the Oyster boats go out to the beds to collect the Oysters. This is one of the old tractors they used to use, there were about three rusting away.
A tasty meal, I had a ploughman's with plenty of cheese and a pork pie.
On toTankerton for a walk, abit too cold for an icecream :)
