Derelict Hotel

One sector which suffered greatly with the collapse of the Celtic Tiger was the hotel industry. Far too many giant new hotels were built on the back of pure speculation and not much else. However, reflecting the world wide downturn, we have seen many older establishments. This one, the La Touche Hotel in Greystones was one of the most popular in the North of the County. Now it is just a boarded up hulk, a shell compared to its former splendour, but a colourful one.
